Is the Hotel Valentino central?
Yes, we are. We’re about 2 minutes off Via Etnea, 5-7 minutes from the Duomo on foot. Click on our location page for a clear view.

Are all the rooms air conditioned?
Yes, they are. Air conditioning is essential in Sicily!

Do the prices advertised on the Bookings page include tax?
Yes, they do. The prices displayed are per room, per night, with no hidden costs or taxes.

Do all the rooms have en suite bathrooms?
Yes, they do. All with shower, hairdryer and accessories.

Does the Hotel Valentino offer services such as tours of the city?
Not directly but we’ll be happy to organise it all on your behalf. Tours up to the crater of Mount Etna can be arranged by our staff and you’ll be picked up from the Hotel entrance.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
No, you don’t. Your reservation is guaranteed by your credit card however and in the unlikely event of you not showing up we’ll debit the cost of the first night. Should you need to cancel, you may do so free of charge up to 48 hours before you arrive.

Is there a lift?
Unfortunately not, the building is very old and we have not been allowed to install a lift. We’re on the second floor.

Do you speak English?
Most of our staff speak enough English to get by, though we’re not experts. Please bear with us!

Can you recommend any good restaurants of pubs nearby?
Certainly.

What’s for breakfast?
Complimentary Italian breakfast consists of croissant, cake, biscuits and French toast, as well as fruit juice and fine Italian coffee.
